Captured at Jean-Michel Basquiat’s Iconic 1984 One-Man Show
Taken during the  May 1984 opening at Mary Boone Gallery of Basquiat’s only one-man show with her. It was a beautiful sunny Spring day. Andy set up his typical “power corner” against a wall in the entrance vestibule to the gallery. There, Jean Michel and Andy greeted visitors. Shot with Kodak color negative film, and drum scanned on the Howtek 4500 scanner.
