My name is Rick Schwab. I moved to NYC after graduating art school in 1976. By 1978 I was a professional photo retoucher and photographer working in advertising. To make extra money,I began freelancing as a photographer of fine art.
In 1983, I started photographing art made by Andy Warhol and Jean Michel Basquiat, among many others. Often going to their studios to shoot. These images are my personal photographs of both Andy and Jean Michel. I scanned the original negatives and am offering prints at 8.5×11; 11×14; and 16×20.Now that I am retiring from commercial photography, I am offering these images for collectors. Each archival print is made and signed by me on the back. All photos are carefully shipped in a box.
